What size should I get for my dog?
Go by weight: Small for dogs up to 15 lbs, Medium up to 40 lbs, Large up to 80 lbs, and XL for anything over 80 lbs. A tennis ball sits right between our Medium and Large — and Large is our best seller, since most fetch dogs are 40+ lbs and tend to prefer a ball that's a little easier to grab. Since every WUNDERball is handmade in North America, sizes can vary slightly ball to ball.
If your dog is at the top of a weight range or they're an aggressive chewer, size up one level. When in doubt, bigger is safer — a ball that's too small becomes a choking risk.
Is it really safe for aggressive chewers?
Yes — that's what the WUNDERball was built for. It's solid natural rubber all the way through (no hollow core, no fabric wrap, no plastic). Power chewers, heavy fetchers, and tennis-ball destroyers typically get months to years of daily use from a single ball.
Still, no toy is fully indestructible. We recommend supervising the first session to confirm it's the right size and intensity match for your dog — and always sizing up for heavy chewers.
