Urban leash
I love the Urban leash ! I like to keep my pups close to me and out of the way of others when in public places. Would definitely recommend them!
Walking two dogs? The URBANwalk'r is the perfect companion to our two dog attachment - CRAZYcoupl'r. This combination is the ideal length for walking 2 dogs at once.

Effective and simple
This is our 5th or 6th easy walker first urban walker s). They are great! We have a 75 pound, very strong dog, and the easy walker has saved my shoulder! I strongly recommend the easy walker or urban walker especially for anyone would has a large strong dog. Not bad for the little crazy ones either.
I have a 30Ib shetland sheepdog who lunges and pulls all the time. The short leash definitely takes off the lunging and keeps your arm from hurting, I was originally wanting the longer one because he's definitely easier to handle when he's a bit further away, but I found that when I couple this leash with another leash I have which is kind of a bungy rope (not the crimply bungy but an actual rope with a bit of spring) it works incredibly well and I don't feel barely any pull at all. This is a arm/shoulder saver! You can tell a dog owner designed this because it was well thought out. Keep up the great work and please bring these back to the stores.
The leash is great if your dog pulls or you need to keep control of them. I bought this with the couplr and it is a little too long together. Wish I would have purchased the shortest leash. But 1 dog by itself keeping close by this is a great option. This is the best leash when walking in crowded areas
It works for my husband who has upper body strength. But I don't so I am the one who snaps back instead of my dog.
This is my third “wow leash” They are the best leash ever; helps if you have a dog that pulls, lets you maintain great control yet easy on your 4 legged pals They also last forever and come in the coolest colors Priced right
The quality of the leash is excellent, but the Color is weird. I ordered red and the handle and bottom piece are a nice red color, but the rubber part in the middle looks more like a bright cherry/hot pink color instead of the red. I have a blue and a black leash and the rubber matches the rest, but for whatever reason, , the red is different.
I have a 9 month old deaf America bull Dog. Great dog, but she pulls and chews on her leash. After a few walks (with treats) she seemed to improve. This leash puts me in a close proximity to her so I can control the leash and communicate with her. She soon relinquishes the leash and we can proceed with the best part of the day, our walk. An added bonus is I still have an arm by the end.!
Should have bought the 4’ instead of the shorter leash. I was replacing my old 4’ WW leash that had gone to the ‘dogs’. But I find the shorter one is a little too short.
Omg, I have a 2 year old lab weighing in at 80lbs that is only 30 pounds lighter than me and she has been killing my arms with my previous leash with harness with all the relentless pulling when it comes to a duck, squirrel etc. l have only used this new leash without a harness for 2 days and am so impressed, of course she tried to grab this leash and wanted to play but I got the upper hand and was able to have complete control. I wished I had this leash from the day I got her. Turns out my friends who we have many play dates will probably be very invested in this new leash.
Unfortunately this leash did not meet up to reviews. Went back to my old leash girls did better with that .Would not recommend and sorry I wasted 50 dollars on .Do not waste your money too.
I recently got a third dog, so had to have another leash. Never even considered getting any other kind. I've been using this brand for years, and have even given a few of them as gifts.
I do enjoy the way that it works using the Cupler. However again I am very disappointed by the colors. The blue is a very nondescript light blue. I wish the products had better colors. Or at least they actually showed the real color.
I bough one of these leashes when I first adopted my jack Russell mix. 3 years later I still use it and it has worked great at reducing him to pull. It’s the only leash I use when taking him out in public because he does so much better walking on it than a regular leash. I highly recommend!!
AWESOME, STRONG AND SAFETY ORIENTED FOR BOTH ANIMAL AND OWNER....!
exceptional
I train large and rowdy rescue dogs. Without my Wacky Walkers I would have had shoulder surgery long time ago. A number of my clients have ordered them after trying mine.
Nice sturdy leash. Helps with regular pulling.
I love it . My 6 month old Doberman doesn't jerk my arm when I try to walk him with the Wacky walker Urban Leash ! The obedience trainer suggested this leash and after borrowing hers for a day, I had to have one !
I was worried this was going to be too short but it's the perfect length. My dog feels protected staying close to me, and I am able to have much better control over keeping her away from distractions. It's very sturdy! I recommend getting a front-hooked harness so when you pull, you don't pull them backwards, but pull their chest towards you.
Nice length for walking in town & durable!
I have owned 4 Wacky Walkers for two different dogs. They have been THE BEST LEASHES I have ever used ! The first Lab weighed over 90 pounds and now we have 70 pounder. Both the long and short leashes performed excellently ! We tried 4 or 5 leashes previously and are no match for the WACKY WALKER and Customer Service couldn't be better !
After 11-12 years of use it finally snapped! This is an amazing leash that my shoulders love. My puggle was a major puller before this leash and would pull my shoulder out of place....no more with this leash.
We absolutely love our no pull leashes! They are very well made, great for all weather conditions. Perfect for swimming at the lake or beach and they clean off nicely. Fantastic customer service. Please make water friendly martingale dog collars! Thank you!
I have two 60 pound dogs, that for different reasons, will lunge or pull while on a leash. This is the ONLY leash that I have found that keeps me in control. I've been using them for a few years now and have only had to replace due to loss. I highly recommend this leash, and this length, to anyone who finds walking their dog challenging due to pulling.
We've used these leashes and couplers for our 6 dogs - 3 leashes are easier to handle than 6! Our biggest dogs are 12 pounds each, the little ones range from 4 to 8 pounds. These products are the best! Thank you!
I have a young Pup , who still thinks the maximum Length of a Leash is the way to go for a Walk. This Leash sure does help on the Yank & Pull.
I've previously ordered a WackyWalk'r for my former dog, it was fabulous. I adopted a new dog who is super-strong, so I ordered the UrbanWalk'r...it helps so much!
I have a 35 lb Frenchie that pulls like a dog three times her size. We bought the Urban Walk'r when we were out of state and her retractable leash broke. It was the first time I tried something in the store and didn't even look at the price before I put it up on the counter to purchase! We loved it so much, when we got back home, we ordered a second one for our 70 lb American Bulldog that also pulls. I am extremely impressed by the quality of this product and the fact that it doesn't allow either of my dogs to yank me and pull me all over the place. This is an arm saver for sure!
This leash is an excellent aid in controlling a reactive dog. Using it, you can give a quick, strong correction without aggravating the situation.
The previous 'medium/large' elastic leash had thicker gauge metal D-rings, wider hand straps, and a thicker clasp. Those are the only complaints. This elastic leash is so much kinder to my elbows and shoulders when he does pull. I walked him 4x daily while I waited for it in the mail. Now we're back to 5 walks/day.
This leash lives up to its promise. It's well made with excellent materials. We chose the urban walker even though we walk in a rural setting. We love the control it gives us plus the slight "give" it allows because of the rubber piece. Easy on our backs and the dogs' necks- controls them in a gentle way.

This is my 3rd Urban walker. We love this leash, especially for my 75lb Akita mix who is very strong and often pulls.
Best leash I've ever used. Truly prevents pulling and keeps my dog right by my side. Makes wk enjoyable and puts you in control!
It's great to have a leash that helps you to be in control. My dog pulls and I have fibromyalgia and thoracic outlet syndrome. This leash keeps me from being injured. Thank you so much for making this great product!
I have a dog that is very prey driven and this leash has been great for training her. The tension on the leash provides negative reinforcement while still saving my shoulder! This leash is great I would highly recommend to anyone!
I love the WACKYwalk 'r Urban leash!!! It's the perfect length for walking in public settings with crowds of people & keeping my two Chinese Shar Pei dogs close to me while giving them just enough lead to walk comfortably. I don't have to jerk or yank the leash to gain control, it appears that when my dogs feel a little tension from the leash they immediately slow down their pace. I could go on and on about this leash....love it :-)!!!!!!
My frenchies love to pull, and this leash works well to keep them at a safe distance--a little leeway but not too much. Thank you!
Very pleased with the performance of our wacky walk'r leashes. I have a medium for my West Highland Terrier and x-large for my basset hound (according to their weight). Paired with an easy walk harness and my dogs never pull on walks. Even my three year old can walk them.
Able to control our dogs better. I would recommend this to anyone that walks their dogs.
We purchased 2 for each of our Australia Shepherds a few years ago while vacationing in the US (we live in Canada). We wanted to bring home something special for our boys. They are both pullers and walking was a huge challenge. These Wacky Walk'rs are AMAZING!! When my husband accidentally lost one a few weeks ago, he didn't have the heart to break the horrible news to me - I absolutely covet them. They make on-leash walking a breeze and they never hurt my doggies' necks - ever. They just receive a gentle reminder to stay close. Thankfully, we were able to purchase on line. I bought 4 more because they are just that great and we don't ever want to be without one. Skye and Synder love these gentle leads and say a warm woof for creating them! For those times a leash is needed, this is the only one you'll ever need.
Wish I had had this for my larger dogs, but even my terrier/poodle mix needs a reminder not to pull. The recoil in the bungee part of this leash gives a gentle, but effective reminder, esp. when she wants to greet everyone! I use the shorter length as I like to keep her close to me.
This leash has SAVED my SANITY!! I have so more more control over my three beasts when they are all on the Wacky Walk'r leashes. We can finally enjoy walks again instead of coming back fustrated and exhausted :)
The leash does what it is supposed to and truly does relieve some of the yanking on my shoulders. My dog, however, needs a refresher course in leash behavior. I'll have to work on that. Love the leash, however.
I have a 6mo old APBT rescue pup. We have been using the urban leash for training walks for about 2 weeks, and she has become such a Great walker. The leash gives the gentle reminder when she goes off course and makes redirecting so much easier. Our walks are much more effective, and she is truly pupped out afterwards. I really love the secondary handle for crossing streets and grabbing ahold to redirect her. She rarely pulls now and when she starts to pull ahead the leash gives the tug that reminds her to slow and good walks are partnerships between dog and leader. I recommend this to everyone especially if you have a bully breed. Plus, the color selection is fantastic with each color supporting a wonderful and worthy cause. It is a complete win win. Well worth every penny. I plan on purchasing the full size original for trail and park walks.
This is the latest purchase in my hunt for a recipe that allows me to walk my recently rescued pit bull and pairing this with a gentle leader so far is the answer!!! The gentle leader doesnt let him constantly pull and the wacky walkr stops him when he bolts for a squirrel/nothing. I wish it was a tad longer. I couldn't use a full length because I live in NYC, but Jordan is rather short so I can't really let him sniff around too much. My boyfriend who is taller than me (6ft. to my 5'4) can't run with it and has to use another leash. All and all, JORDAN AND I CAN FINALLY GO ON LONG WALKS!!!
Haven't used it enough to know how well it's going to work....my pup is only 4 months an 45 pounds...time will tell if the expense is worth it.
I was actually looking for a rubber least I bought a while back that was completely rubber including the handle. I'm disappointed that the whole thing isn't rubber, but it's been working very well. I have a 90 lb. bulldog/boxer mix who could probably pull a car. This leash helps me tremendously!
I thought it might be too short a leash but it turns out to be just right. I use it with a coupler ....works very well.
After trying umpteen different leashes, all claiming to be the best, I came across the Wacky Walk'r Urban advertisement in a magazine. Our pup, an Australian Blue Heeler Cattle, had "walked" us for nearly a year... Despite her small stature, she is strong-willed and fast as lightning. Taking her to walk was a daily nightmare. She pulled, tugged, wrestled, wrangled, twisted, and broke away, no matter what we used to restrain her. With nothing to lose (minus my sanity), I ordered the Wacky Walk'r leash. We received the shipment within days, and were eager to try it out. I was immediately amazed and thrilled. This leash truly is unlike ANY other made. Iris was likely miffed that she'd finally lost her title as "boss"... but was literally rendered incapable of protesting. We actually had quite a few good chuckles as she became accustomed to walking with it. Words cannot express my gratitude for the stress this eliminated in our lives. I wish I had found this first... It would have saved an enormous amount of money and frustration. Forget the rest... Buy the BEST!!!
I got this for my daughter and her dog, since I don't have a dog (at the moment). She was thrilled and said it worked great. Also, I had great service rom the company. When they didn't have the color I ordered, they called me immediately to let me know, and I ordered another color.
My rottie still pulls with this Urban model. I was trying to get away with using her choke collar and looks like I will have to continue to use that. Many times she walks very nicely at my side, but she loves people and will pull to greet them. Hates cats and will pull to get them!
I had my doubts about this leash but used it for the first time and was quite pleased. My dog is a 40-lb. Beagle mix, and she will occasionally lunge to the side when she catches a scent, or plant her feet and bury her nose in the ground. This leash definitely prevented my arm from being yanked, and it is firm enough to prevent her from just stretching it out completely. I would not recommend it for training, since it is not as easy to correct behavior with it, but if your dog is fairly well behaved, it's great.
too short
I have a 16 pound dog that decides to chase or run at whatever catches his eye. By the end of that walk that 16 pound dog feels more like 50! I've had the Wacky Walk'r for a little over a week and life is so much better. He stays by my side and rarely tries to pull away. When he does pull away he bounces right back with no strain on me. It's great!
Our Pit-bull is 50 pounds and loves to chase squirrels. We met a women using this leash and highly suggested it. After only a few days the difference cannot be emphasized enough. Great product and the service was great as well.
Perfect in every sense of the word. The urban leash is a great length and its much less work walking the knuckleheads now. Awesome and would recommend everyone try it. I also use it with one of my dogs who use a head collar and I think it's made it easier on him too, as he definitely pulls. THANK YOU for an excellent product.
Great for any dog, especially one that pulls like ours does! Perfect length for walks and looks great too. This has instantly become our go to leash for walks.
I bought the lease and the triple coupler so I can walk ALL three of my dogs together, can't wait for them to get out on the beach with me and walk.
We bought our first walkr in a store Give a Dog a bone and we loved it so decided to buy a second one. We have 2 bullmastiff pups. These walkrs are amazing- with a regular leash my hands were red from the pull and my back and arms in major pain but the wacky walkr does all the hard work for me and our pups have learned how to walk faster with these. We will always have a walkr for our dogs!
I just ordered two new Wacky Walkrs. I used them everyday for my dogs for three years, and they are showing slight signs of wear. But mainly I wanted different colors! It is the best leash ever, for a 160 pound shepherd who is protective and a 50 pound boxmation that pulls!Thank you!
So good I bought one for my dogs and another for my sister. Great product!
I have a 50lb lab mix and a 60lb shepherd mix that pull like they are on a mission. This leash has not only saved my arm and back but has aided them with proper encouragement to walk next to me on the sidewalks. Pretty great invention!
